March 11, 2010 - Nancy Snell of Nancy Snell Events of Aspen, Colorado is the Winner of 2010 ICON Award for "Best Social Event of the Year". The Event also won "Best Entertainment of the Year".

Denver, Colo… The anticipated ICON Award Ceremony held on Thursday, March 11, 2010, honored the best and brightest professionals in the special events industry. Individuals and companies, who are involved in the production of special events, are honored for their most outstanding achievements during the year.

Nancy Snell Events won the award for a spectacular luncheon she produced transforming the venue into a breathtaking English Garden laden with flowers and color. The guests were treated to gourmet delicacies, Cristal champagne and Baccarat Butterflies as their gift. The featured entertainment was a two hour non-stop high energy Motown review culminating in a dancing and singing salute to Michael Jackson that had all of the ladies cheering, singing and joining the performers on stage.

Congratulations to Nancy Snell of Nancy Snell Events for being nominated for the best social event produced for an individual in the 2009 Icon Award Gala sponsored by Confetti Magazine. Nancy Snell Events creativity and originality was recognized for the beautiful party she produced for Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Greenwald's 50th wedding celebration.

Nancy Snell Events has also been honored with a two page spread in Confetti Magazine for the outrageously fun party she produced for Mr. & Mrs. Montgomery Loud who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a “back to 1968” party. From decor, protesters, entertainment and costumed guests that all had a great time.
